Gap Year Program

The BA GAP Program is a tiered pathway for young adults aged 18 to 25 who are interested in performing arts or teaching.

Gap Foundation Performer: focuses on foundation skills and confidence building through a weekly GAP class and performance opportunities.

Gap Emerging Artist adds a weekly 30-minute solo lesson to support students working towards their ATCL Performance Certificate, giving them personalised coaching alongside their regular training.

Gap Advanced Teaching and Performance is designed for GAP students who ave completed the Emerging Artist and want to move into teaching. It combines the weekly class and solol lesson with an hour of pedagogy training each week across 32 weeks, preparation for the ATCL Teaching Certificate, and eligibility for paid assistant teaching and event work at Broadway Academy.

Together, these tiers create a clear progression from performer development to real teaching experience and industry readiness.
